The configuration loading process might take up to five seconds after the board is powered on. After the configuration is loaded, the ARC EM processor performs a self-test as described in the Run the bootloader and initial self-test section. The driver is a part of the Digilent Adept System tool and can be downloaded from the Digilent web site at Follow the installation instructions provided by Digilent.
